Travel: The #1 Gift Idea

It's not just come December that we all must think of gift giving. The birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations, bar & bat mitzvahs of our loved ones requires us in most cases to ask ourselves: "What kind of present should I be giving?"

Perhaps we are biased but it seems to us that there is no occasion for which a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience would be inappropriate.

More and more, our clients are contacting us for help with trips to celebrate special occasions. From a surprise trip to Machu Picchu to an anniversary adventure through Patagonia, the trend is clear: gone are the days where gifts are defined to prized items such as jewelry or cars. The new trend is embarking on a customized journey reflective of your interests together in an unforgettable experience.

In last month's The Globe & Mail, Amanda Blakely shares how she nixed the idea of a sexy sports car for her husband's 40th birthday, opting instead for a 4-day journey aboard the luxurious Delfin Amazon River Cruise. Her piece not only beautifully describes the experience aboard the Delfin I, one of our personal favorite products throughout all of South America, it also highlights the trend of celebrating milestone moments with travel.

Want to plan a milestone moment like Amanda's? Don't forget we are still offering 25% off 2017 departures aboard the Delfin. Or check out our Delfin & Machu Picchu Adventure with a savings of nearly $1,000 per person! We couldn't think of a better way to score a major deal AND take the cake for the best give ever.
