“Julia, WOW! The trip was amazing! Everything was spectacular. I cannot thank you enough. The flights went off without a hitch, the ground transportation was perfect. The hotel was excellent. We really got lucky with the switch from Posto 5 to Posto 2. Atlantic Ave was barricaded down at Posto 5 since that was the open water swimming venue. Being up at Posto 2 was perfect. My only regret is that I bought into the bad publicity about the conditions of Rio. Rio is incredible. The transportation around the city was easy. We were less than a block from the Metro and rode it most everywhere we went. We did the bike tour on Tuesday morning. Jan and Philip were great. I told them that you gave me their name. Carla, our guide for the Corcovado tour, was great. She even helped us get dinner reservations at a beachfront restaurant on Ipanema. On Wednesday we hiked up to Sugarloaf (half way). To top it all off, our daughter Leah won a Bronze and Gold medal! Thank you again for all your help. We could not have had such a great time without it.”
